Danielle Fontenette was born and raised in New York and moved to St. Martinville in 1990. While in New York she attended St. Dominic's Catholic School and Christorpher Columbus High School. Upon graduating she attended John Jay College for 2 years.
She started working for the City of St. Martinville in 1996 as the Main Street Director and then went on to become the AAM Director and Chamber of Commerce Director. She has spent over 25 years working with the St. Martinville community raising awareness to beautification, revitalization, economic development and capital projects.
She attends Notre Dame Catholic Church and is a part of the RCA program as a confirmation teacher. She is a member of SLAMA, LMA and the NMA.
She is married to Kervin Fontenette Sr and they have 4 children: Hope, Liza, Keri and Kervin Jr.
